About Dialogue

Public dialogue enables decision makers to develop socially informed policy on issues relating to science and technology.

Public dialogue is a process during which members of the public interact with scientists, stakeholders (for example, research funders, businesses and pressure groups) and policy makers to deliberate on issues relevant to future policy decisions (Sciencewise Guiding Principles, 2018).
